Me and my Group Had to make a Google drawing about our maths 

question. Well this is my answer for this maths question .

Google cardboard

Today on the 24 of November we had to talk with google. There were two men named Mr Clark and Michael. They came to our Y7 & 8 block to try out this google cardboard. The Y8 went to tech and we Y7 had to stay so that we could try out these new google cardboard “COOL”,.

we went into our group for te ero. I was in group three and we were the one who is going to try out the new google card. we sat in the street and listen to instruction.

We all had to get a google cardboard and went to sit down. We all had to put it to our eyes and watch everything that Mr Clark but on the screen on the tablet. It was so cool that it look like that we were there. The was so awesome we went out of space, the forest, into a cave, and even under sea.

My favourite part of the  google cardboard was that we went  under the sea . I saw so many sea animal like sharks, fish, and dolphins.

The Amazing Race

Yesterday on the 27th of october we had an activity called the amazing race with the Year 8 and 7 at Pt England School . The teacher had to put us into group of 4,5 or 6. The group are called 123B and 123A my group was Kyan, Juliet, Alizay, and Furidah we were 3A. The teachers gave us a card to the activity that we had to go and we have to try and earn Points. Then we had to go into the street so the teachers will show where our first activity and what were the activity about. There were five activity they were cookies face, fare factor, Photo Poth, Pies Pipe, and Brain.

Our first activity was cookies face. (How to play) was first you had to but the cookie on your forehead then you have to try and put it into your mouth without your hand touching it. Mrs flavel took room 5/123B and 123A in two line and went to our first activity then already told us the instruction and picked five people from A to B. Mrs flavel gave us cookies and she said “ ready set go” then we try to move our forehead and we try to plink. It was so tricky that the cookie slide through our mouth and on the ground.

When it was finished our team did not get any cookie into our mouths and we had no points. After that we had to check on our Paper where is our next activity. Our next activity was Pies Pipe with Miss Hokly and Miss Msala. We walk to our next activity and we saw our rival enemies sitting down waiting for us. When we sat down we saw three table and to powls of pies on each table. We had to sit down at  a table and wait for the instruction. The instruction was how to put the pies to the other side of the table to the empty bowl without touching with our hand you have to use the straw to suck the pie. It was so difficult because it was so hard to suck the  pie you can’t even hold your breath. After we finish we just hear that the other team cheated. They cheated by using their hands. We won and we had 100 points.

After all the activity that we did we all had to meet back at the stree and finish our amazing race and we had 209 points. It was so fun I hope that we can do it again

Immersion Assembly

“YES IT’S TERM 4”, On the first day of term 4 we had a immersion assembly. Our topic was about P.E.S Survivor  and it was about how to adaptation-adapt. Adaptation means to change yourself that suit the environment and that you can connect to the things around you. Mr Burt started with a video and it was about the fiapoto bird.

After that Mr Burt shouted with enthusiasm through the hall and said “IT IS NOW TIME FOR TEAM ONE”!!  the team 1 teacher came out and miss George got the mic and said “this term our team are going to the zoo to discover one of the animal”,. The teacher went around and to pick one of the children and they went on stage and sang a song the song was Katy Perry roar.

After all the teams 1,2,3,4 and 5 my favorite team was our team which is 5 because I like the way that Miss Clark ate all the noodles with chopsticks.  Miss Peato was humorous when she said that she didn't choose to adapt.  . I really like Immersion Assembly it make me get my

learning on about our topic P.E.S SURVIVOR.

Spend Share and Save

Money is used all around the world.   It’s important to know how to spend, share and save it!   This is an explanation to help you make the right decisions with your money.

Let’s begin with spending money.  Here are some things children my age could possibly spend money on.Movies, Clothes Toys,Xbox 360 games, Haircut, Shoes, BMX bikes, Tv food Lolies

Now we move into what would be worth saving your money for.  Here are some examples of what I think are worthy of saving money for.Mansion, Ipad - Phone, laptop, Motorbike, cars- favourite american muscle, university- college, Nike shoes, Rugby boot, rugby jersey, dogs, What my mum and day needs.

Finally we come to explaining why people would share their money.  The first reason Sharing money Is very important because if you don’t give your money to someone that someone might be very poor and that they will die. So we have to support them by giving money to them so they can live and get a life with family.  You can also give money to one of your money if they don’t have that much money to buy food of stuff for their kids so that they live as well.

In spending, saving and sharing money it is important to set spending goals to guide yourself.  A goal helps you to save spend and share

 

When considering how you will spend, save and share your money it is important to decide to spend share and save you money.

Nasty Nits

Me and my literacy group have read a book called nasty nits. We had to complete
a presentation about the nasty nits and there were very interesting question there
to complete.

Hide and go seek

Me and my reading group have read These story on the presentation. There were
only 6  story on the presentation and we had to click on the link and a tap pop
up. The tap is the story and we had to read that story and complete the questions on
the presentation.

On friday for inquiry Miss Peato told us how can we make Pt England school better. First we had to go into six group and we had to think of

an idea. Me and my group first idea was that we could make a bee

as a bodyguard for the toilet.

After we were doing our idea our classwent outside to look around the school and think of a idea to make our school better. Some of us got some idea. There idea was to make the garden better and make the field better as well.

Miss Peato told us to make a google slide and but all our ideas into the

Me and my Group were working out what time the Elisha leave home and what time the he went school.

Neaian Fusionn Assemblry

I learnt How to spend the ailao stick from these boys from collage there name was Maori Kava, Deacon and Lee. They taught us how to spend, roll and bass it to our other hand. We watch Mr Noyce spend at the assembley with there teacher Mr Noyce. Mr Noyce was spending the stick with fire smoke was ricing on the stage and he throw the stick of fire in the air. Then after that he went off.

Maths Work

in kiwisport this term, we are learning how to play basketball. So far, we have learnt how to dribble the ball.

Chelsea was able to dribble the ball 58 times.

Elizabeth could only dribble half that amount.

Semi could only dribble 7 times more than chelsea.

Izac could dribble the ball 3 times more than Elizabeth.

Q: how many times can each person dribble the ball?

a)-58x7=406

b)-58/2=29

c)- 50x7=350

8x7= 56,

d)-29 x 3=87

Polyfest

At the Polyfest we  were so exsited to go. First we went on the bus and after that when we finally made it we We all waited for the other school to go through the Polyfest. After that room 5 had to go first and the other classes. When we went in we sat down and listen for some rules.


After that we saw John Key and some police with him. When he finish talking we all Stan up and we went to our classes and tried to look for number 7 and we saw number 7 but we don't know what to do so we ask the a lady and she said that we had to eat lunch.


When we finish eating we went to our activity and we talk some photo that was our activity . We have to
find five students and take photo. I relay like the Ployfest it is so fun.

Undersea Garden

Holiday

Me and and my family went to the movies at sival park on saturday. Me and my sister had to wait cause we couldn’t fit inside the car. so my brothers, baby sis and my mum and dad had to go first. When they came back then my dad came to pick us up so we went inside the hoist and we went inside room 2 and look for my mum, brother and baby sister. we found them and look for some sait. There were lots of People there, when we found some sait we watch a movie called big hero six. we sat down and watch so we ate some popcorn and drink some cocacola. it was so loud in there, when the movie finish my favourite part was that when they built the suit. when we got out we went to Mcdonald and ate. when we were finish eating me and my baby sis and my mum had to wait. So we had some ice cream before we wait, the my dad came and we drove home. After we drove back home we went to the shop to buy some food for tomorrow. We went home and watch some tv I had to clean the garage because we have family home evening. Family home evening is like we do activi and read the scriptures. In samoa we call it kosi pa ia, and we have to say thanks to your mum and day for some thing but we have to say it in samoa because we were samoa. After that I’d clean the garage I had to do lots of jobs but my brothers were lazy so me and my sister had to do all of the jobs. We had to cook the food and clean up the tables for dinner. Then it was night time we ate our dinner and my sister had to wash the dishes and i had to clean the tabled when we finish we went outside and had some fresh air. After that we went inside and went to have some sleep.

Miss Peato Birthday

In the street all of the year 8 and 7 sang e honar re after we finish singing we saw Mr Wiseman Play the guitar when he interrupt Miss Peato talk. When Mr wiseman play the guitar he kick the senior common room door next to Miss Peato and we all saw the teachers came out and surprise Miss Peato. Miss Clark was holding a cake for Miss Peato and the other teachers was play the tampering and the drum it was Mrs muala and Mrs Tale’a. When they came out the room they sang happy birthday to Miss Peato and then we all sang happy birthday. They gave some flower necklace to Miss Peato and Miss Peato was very happy.
