Earth Paint

Me and my reading group read a book called Earth Paint.  Earth Paints are paints made out of crushed clay or soil and mixed with water. In the story the children found different coloured soil in the vegetable garden, compost, near a swamp, beside a stream, under the bark on the playground, clay off a bank, building site and from the river.

Aborigines used to use Earth Paints to paint pictures on cave walls or bark. They used twigs, bamboo sticks and sometimes their fingers to paint. So that the paint stuck they mixed emu and fish oil or beeswax with the paint.
Here is my earth paint painting.

We were so excited to go to kawau island. When we made it we took all the bags food and left it on the deck. After that we grab our day bag  and our water bottles and walk up the hills. We had to stop for our lunch and colin had to say a speech.

Then we kept walking all the way up top and we went down and then we had some lunch. Then we had to play some games I played ball rush and the we skim the rocks on the water. Then we
went back to the camp and we set up our cabins I had to sleep with Oloti, Damien, Tihi and livai.

How to be a Pt Englander

How to be a Pt Englander

I can be a good Pt Englander by being polite, wearing it with pride and being cybersmart. To be a Pt Englander you have to do the right thing
and finish it off Properly. We do this so that we get a good job.

To be polite you have to be kind to others and listen and obey to the teacher. In assembly Mr Burt told us three things. We need to say please when we are asking someone for something, thank you when someone is giving you something and excuse me when we walk past someone.

Wearing it with pride means that you need to wear the right uniform at school. This means you are not allowed to wear mufti under your uniform at school. When I come to school I never wear my seat shech on my waist.

I am cybersmart by going on learning links but not downloading… songs on my netbook. At Pt England our teachers help us to leave a smart footprint by having dashboard. They help us by going on the right thing.

You should be a Pt Englander by being polite, wearing it with pride and being cybersmart. You should come to Pt England school.

My Holiday

On the Holidays I slept over at my cousin houses. Their names are Kaleb, Dallin and Brigim.

We were waiting to go to the movies at the Hoyts cinema in Sylvia Park, the movie was starting at 6:40. When we were waiting we played  Call of Duty, Black Ops. Black Ops is a game where you kill zombies.

Yes!!! It was time to go to the movies, we got ready and hopped in the car. Finally we made it to the movies. We went to Pak n Save to buy some goodies. We each had $20 to spend. I brought some lollies, chips and a drink.  We were really excited about going to the movies. We sat in our seats ready to watch The Ninja Turtles.

What a good movie everyone should go and see it. The theatre was so full.

Use my heart means that you feel bad when on wrong things on your netbook. You might feel bad like you are going to lose your netbook. Listen to that feeling and do the right thing.

Being cybersmart helps you for learn on your netbook and to do the right things.

Boat buoyancy

This is a picture of my a boat that will float.  When I made it and put marbles in it, it floated. But someone sank it with his bare hands.
