I learnt How to spend the ailao stick from these boys from collage there name was Maori Kava, Deacon and Lee. They taught us how to spend, roll and bass it to our other hand. We watch Mr Noyce spend at the assembley with there teacher Mr Noyce. Mr Noyce was spending the stick with fire smoke was ricing on the stage and he throw the stick of fire in the air. Then after that he went off.

Polyfest

At the Polyfest we  were so exsited to go. First we went on the bus and after that when we finally made it we We all waited for the other school to go through the Polyfest. After that room 5 had to go first and the other classes. When we went in we sat down and listen for some rules.


After that we saw John Key and some police with him. When he finish talking we all Stan up and we went to our classes and tried to look for number 7 and we saw number 7 but we don't know what to do so we ask the a lady and she said that we had to eat lunch.


When we finish eating we went to our activity and we talk some photo that was our activity . We have to
find five students and take photo. I relay like the Ployfest it is so fun.

Use my brain, use my heart, I’m going to be cybersmart came from Mr Burts korero. He told us to use our netbook wisely. Use my brain, use my heart I’m going to be cybersmart help us to learn with our net book.

Use my brain means that you use your netbook wisely. If you are on the wrong thing on your netbook and your brain says stop going on the wrong thing you should listen. Do what your brain says.

Use my heart means that you feel bad when on wrong things on your netbook. You might feel bad like you are going to lose your netbook. Listen to that feeling and do the right thing.

Being cybersmart helps you for learn on your netbook and to do the right things.

Onomatopoeia

An onomatopoeia is a word that makes a sound. One onomatopoeia is moo because a cow makes the sound moo.

Culture Punctuation

We have been learning about Capital letters, full stops, commas and apostrophes.  Here is a sentence that I put the punctuation in for.

Tennis hoop

Tennis hoop is a game that came from Auckland and it is made by this amazing person call PJ.  It is a mix of basketball, rugby and tennis and it is a made up game. This is how you win you have to get the most hoops.

The equipment you will need is a tennis ball, an american football head gear and a bullet proof vest. The place you will play is a stadium sized grass field.

The players will you need it 12 player The rules are that you have to hold the tennis ball and you are not allowed to drop it or you're out. You also have to tackle the one who has the ball.

What is Culture?

Cultures is where you come from. Cultures have different languages, songs, flags, foods, beliefs and clothes. My Cultures is samoan and we have koko that  is like tea.

Different countries have different cultures. In Japan old people wear kimonos, do tea ceremonies and put flowers in a jar.

How People Go To School

Today we learned to use tables and graphs to solve investigative questions. We found how many People go to school. We have to see how many girl and boys go to school on a Bike, Bus, Walk, motor and train.

The girls like to ride on the motor car and the boys are the second.

1.First you get plant pot.

2. Then you fill up the pot with some soil and mud up 2/3.

3. Then you but two bean seed in the pot.

4. After that you fill up the pot mix.

5.Then you put some water in the pot and put it in the sun

Catching Mustelids

Iron Man 3

On the holidays me and my family went to the  movies at Sylvia Park. We brought six tickets for our family. After we wanted we went inside  the movie and there was a big screen. We watched Iron Man 3 and we had to sit down and waited for the movie to start.

When we were waiting, we ate some popcorn. When the movie started to play it was so noisy.

It was cool watching Iron Man 3 in the end there was lots of iron mans.

Dragons

. 

This story is about four dragons that tried to make friends but couldn't. All the people in the town were scared and ran away. The dragons made a barbecue and gave the people sausage sizzles. The people and the dragons became friends.

Easter Break

On Easter we were playing with our dog. His name is Rocky and we were running. After that I was playing with my sister, we were playing some games with my brothers on the ipad. The next day we had some breakfast and we were cleaning up the our home and we buy some easter egg and we get a bag it of it. and we are having a easter paty it was so cool we had so much fun.

Triathlon

 

On Wednesday morning, we had triathlon. Room 13 and 14 sat on the field and listened to the instructors. If the people didn’t bring their togs to school, they had to do star jumps. After that we were riding on bikes around the field and we put the bikes down and took our helmets off. We ran around the field and and I was too tired .Did you enjoy triathlon.
