Ruru

I am in Miss garden and Mr Goodwin reading group and my group is called the rurus.

A Ruru sounds like it need more pork.

Swimming

After getting changed, but before we get  into the pool, we have a

little rinse. We need to get off the wax and dirt. After we have a

little rinse we have to wait for our instructor. When we were waiting we were shivering like an ice block.

One of our skills we did first was rocket arms with our flutter board

and without our flutter board. After we did our rocket arms we did

arm circles. The next one we did was fast but little kicks. Then your

head has to go back up to the top of the water. When she said

“ straight arms all the water  to the end without breathing then we did what she said and she was happy.

When we got in the pool we had to do some relay races. First we

got into groups and there were Sharks, Whales and dolphin. Our

instructors told us who is going to be the first and second. I was

the first one to go I get to vs Oloti and Billy. We raced to our group

and felt exhausted when i got back

Huhu Escape

My reading group and me we were reading Huhu Grub. We are learning to take care of the huhu
grub. When you take care of the huhu grub you but it in a old wooden box and give them some food
in the box so they can't die.
